Hello, my friends call me Derek or DJ. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about our team and what we do. I'm a Virtual Financial Advisor, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®, Founder of Intrepid Wealth Partners, and also a tech founder of Couplr AI.
I launched Intrepid Wealth Partners to help ambitious founders and creatives cut through complexity, build lasting wealth, and live freely — without the financial chaos that often shadows success and the process of creating wealth.
I love dogs, surfing, cars, and world travel and am a serial entrepreneur. A fun fact about me is that I have played chess with Sir Richard Branson multiple times and never won!

Hi, I’m Drew Faloon — the guy you’ll find hiking Colorado’s peaks with my Aussie mix and best friend, Talus. I’m a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and the advisor at Intrepid Wealth Partners, but titles aside, my passion is helping ambitious business owners and families bring order to the financial chaos so they can actually enjoy the life they’re building.
When I’m not working with clients, you’ll usually find me outdoors — chasing sunrises on mountain trails, training for my next endurance race (50+ mile races anyone??), or planning my next big adventure. A fun fact? I have climbed 72 (and counting) of Colorado's tallest 100 mountains. I intend to also climb all of the state's high points (yes, even Denali in Alaska) and eventually climb the tallest point on Mars (jk, that last one is just me being funny).

I’ve had the privilege of being with Intrepid Wealth Partners since 2015, where I serve as an Executive Administrative Assistant. I love helping and serving our clients. It’s incredibly rewarding to be part of a team that helps people live their best life.
When I’m not working with clients, you’ll find me traveling, cooking, or spending time with my husband and our four children. Life is all about balance, and for me, that means cherishing family moments, exploring new places, and diving into delicious recipes.
A fun fact about me: I have a hidden talent for cooking — I’ve been known to whip up meals from different cuisines around the world and always welcome the chance to experiment with new flavors.

My passion for excellence drives me to partner with advisors and firms to create customized solutions that streamline operations, ensure compliance, and foster sustainable growth. With more than 20 years of experience in financial services, I specialize in helping advisors free up their time so they can focus on what matters most—growing their businesses and serving their clients.
I hold the Series 65 license as well as life, health, and accident insurance licenses across multiple states, allowing me to address a wide range of client and business needs.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time on the river with friends, camping, exploring nature, and taking road trips with my Miniature Schnauzer, Henry.
